WARRIOR’s CODE 001: Secrets to Triumphant Transition
While serving as an Inspector General in Afghanistan, Mark E. Green (Lt. Colonel U.S. Army Retired) suffered a potentially career ending hip injury during his last month of deployment. Green fought his way back to full health battling daily through an arduous recovery as he was faced with the daunting reality that he had to learn to walk again. During his recovery, the once active Green utilized his life-altering injury as the basis for the *Warrior’s Code 001* where his mindset became the RESET. His secrets for overcoming daily adversities has now become the stepping stone to his personal best. In this book, he shares those secrets to developing a mindset that increases resiliency and serves as a bridge in aiding in the transition and re-integration process for veterans and their families – strategies he developed from his own traumatic experiences with family, hard-earned lessons, continuing education and five years spent as an Inspector General working through serious issues and concerns of soldiers and their families. Garrett, a 30-year journalist, interviewed numerous veterans from different branches of the service, and their stories about transition are included, too. Green is presently establishing a curriculum based on his *7 Secrets to Remarkable Resilience and Triumphant Transition* and is devoting the remainder of his career to helping his military brothers and sisters and their families.
